Free health check-up camp organized in association with Shri Saibaba Heart Institute
(23rd March 2024)
On 23rd March 2024 a free health check-up camp (also included electrocardiogram, blood sugar, blood pressure, HbA1c) was organized by Indian Red Cross Society Nashik District Branch in association with Shri Saibaba Heart Institute. The camp met with overwhelming response from the patients. Cardiologist Dr Dnyaneshwar Phuse and Dr Shailesh Badav examined 135 patients.

Multi Diagnostic Camp organised at Nashik Red Cross

On 19th January 2024 A Multi Diagnostic Camp was organised at Nashik Red Cross. Orthopaedic, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Dermatology patients were examined free of cost along with Bone Mineral Density (BMD) check-up. 165 patients took the benefit. A MoU was signed between Red Cross and College of Physiotherapy. PG students & interns will provide the services, daily, from 10am to 1 pm.
Health camp and physiotherapy camp at Vatsalya Vruddhashram

On 27th October 2023 a health camp and physiotherapy camp was organised by IRCS Nashik District Branch at Vatsalya Vruddhashram. Dr. Pratibha Aundhkar revealed the ideal life style management of the elderly people while Dr. Pooja Sakhla examined the patients and demonstrated useful exercises and physiotherapy. Total 35 patients were benefitted
World Osteoporosis day celebrated on 20th October 2023

On the occasion of World Osteoporosis day Indian Red Cross Society, Nashik District Branch in association with Saibaba Heart Institute, Supreme Hospital and Surabhi Hospital at Nashik organized a free medical camp on 20th October 2023 at Red Cross Office, Nashik.

Hon’ble Shri Jalaj Sharma (IAS), District Collector & President of IRCS Nashik District Branch inaugurated the campand exhibition of Mahila Bachat Gat. He was briefed of all activities of Red Cross and expressed full of satisfaction.

Consulting doctors specializing in cardiac, orthopaedic, gynaecology, dental, paediatrics and ophthalmology rendered free services.

Under the women empowerment initiatives, the Self Help Group (SHG) displayed home made products at the Red Cross office.
Visit by Hon’ble Governor Shri Ramesh Bais Ji

Hon’ble Governor Shri Ramesh Bais Ji, during his visit to Nashik interacted with the Office Bearers of Nashik Red Cross. Divisional Commissioner & District Collector, Nashik were present along with CEO Nashik ZP on 12th October 2023. He insisted on continuing the mission of Red Cross with greater enthusiasm and undertake all humanitarian activities passionately.
World Heart Day celebrated on 29th September 2023

Dr. Aniruddha Dharmadhikari is the guest editor of the supplement and a renowned cardiologist and owns a hospital “Shree Saibaba Heart Institute, Nashik. He is also the Chairman of Indian Red Cross Society, Nashik District Branch.
First Aid Day celebrated on 12th September 2023

On 12th September 2023 First Aid Day was celebrated in Nashik Red Cross. A brief lecture on first aid was delivered by Dr. Sunil Aundhkar, Hon. Secretary, followed by demonstrations on CPR by Dr. Pratibha Aundhkar, M.O. Nashik District Branch. Nursing students of GE Society’s Nursing College attended it in large numbers
World Physiotherapy Day celebrated on 8th September 2023

On 8th September 2023 World Physiotherapy Day was celebrated by Nashik Red Cross in association with College of Physiotherapy and Physiotherapist Association Women’s Cell, Nashik. Bone mineral density detection along with an orthopaedic camp was organised. 55 patients were benefited. Nashik Red Cross office bearers were present on this occasion.
Blood donation camp organised by Youth Red Cross wing & NSS unit of MVP’s College of Architecture, Nashik

On 2nd September 2023 a blood donation camp was organised by Youth Red Cross wing and NSS unit of MVP’s College of Architecture, Nashik. Inaugurated by Adv. Laxman Landge, Director, MVPS, Nashik. Nashik Red Cross Managing Committee members were the guest of honour. Principal Dr. Prajakta Baste along with her team of Professors were influential in making the camp a success. Total 35 units collected.
Free diagnostic camps organized in association with Shree Saibaba Heart Institute & Stree Shakti Sadhan Kendra

In continuation of the series of free diagnostic camps in August 2023, further three were organised by Nashik Red Cross in association with Shree Saibaba Heart Institute & Stree Shakti Sadhan Kendra on 9th,10t h& 12th August 2023 at Makhmalabad, Panchavati, Shivajinagar, Jail Roadand Buddha Vihar, Satpur in Nashik. Total 565 people were benefited.
Series of free diagnostic camps in association with Shree Saibaba Heart Institute & Stree Shakti Sadhan Kendra
(3rd August 2023)
A series of free diagnostic camps is being organised by Nashik Red Cross in association with Shree Saibaba Heart Institute & Stree Shakti Sadhan Kendra in August 2023. Overall 11 camps will take place in various locations in Nashik targeting 2500 women affiliated to the Bachat Gats (self-help groups).
First camp on 3rd August 2023 was inaugurated at the Red Cross by Hon’ble Ms. Pradnya Bade Misal, Deputy Divisional Commissioner, regulatory revenue body, Nashik division.
ECG, haemoglobin, HbA1C, refraction, diabetics all was done free of charge. Appreciations to team Saibaba Hospital, Surabhi hospital, Dr. Aniruddha Dharmadhikari, Mr. Sushil Ingale of Microgene, Mr. Nilesh Thorat and Mr. Samadhan Gangurde for taking efforts to make it a grand success.Total 162 women were benefited.
On 5th August 2023 second camp was organised at Bharatnagar, Nashik. Total 147 women were benefited. On 6th August 2023 third camp was organised at New Nashik CIDCO. Total 226 women were benefited.
World Eye Donation Day celebrated on 10th June 2023

On 10th June 2023 on the occasion of World Eye Donation Day, Nashik Red Cross & Surabhi Chest & Eye Hospital, Nashik jointly led a campaign by publishing Eye Donation Poster and Eye/ Organ / Body Donation form. Dr. Vishal Gunjal, President, Nashik Indian Medical Association, Dr. Anirban Bandopadhyay, Dr. Shweta Bandopadhyay were the guests of honour. Major Bhagat, Dr. Sunil Aundhkar, Dr. Pratibha Aundhkar, Mrs. Pratibha Bhagat of the IRCS Nashik Red Cross Branch were present on this occasion.

World Red Cross Day celebrated on 8th May, 2023

On 8th May 2023 on the occasion of World Red Cross Day Ex-Vice Chairman Brig. Arvind Vartyand& former Hon. Secretary Major P.M. Bhagat as well as Mrs. Pratibha Bhagat were felicitated on behalf of Indian Red Cross Society, Nashik District Branch by the chief guest Mrs. Bhagyashree Banayat (Additional Commissioner, Nashik Municipal Corporation) by giving them badges shawls and mementos who have rendered invaluable service in the progress of Nashik Red Cross for a long term. Dr. Sunil Aundhkar –Hon. Secretary, Dr. Pratibha Aundhkar and managing committee members of Nashik Red Cross and staff were present.

IRCS Nashik branch celebrates World Health Day

On 7th April 2023 on the occasion of World Health Day IRCS Nashik District Branch in association with Surabhi Hospital organised health quiz for nursing students, awareness lecture for students involved in social work, health camps and a health chart banner was displayed at the Nashik Branch with pictorial emphasis on nutritious diet, jogging, yoga, cycling & any physical exercises, avoid mental stress, periodic health check-up, immunisation , alcohol abuse, music therapy, avoid junk food , protecting environment , tree plantation etc.
International Women’s Day, free Physiotherapy & Body Composition camp for women

On 8th March 2023 On the occasion of International Women’s Day a free Physiotherapy & Body Composition camp for women including Healthy baby competition was organised by Nashik Red Cross in association with Indian Association of Physiotherapists Women Cell, MVP College of Physiotherapy, Suyog Hospital & Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College at the Red Cross Building, Nashik. Heritage Walk visit to Nashik Red Cross building

On 12th February 2023 The Daily Maharashtra Times organises Heritage Walk regularly, where the readers are appealed to visit the ancient/ historical places .This month, Nashik Red Cross was destination of the heritage walk.
More than 150 enthused readers visited Red Cross building on the occasion. Thorough information& history about global and pan India Red Cross operations along with history of Nashik Red Cross was given to the members present.
Free cardiac camp with Shri Saibaba Heart Institute
(21st January 2023)
On 21st January 2023 Nashik Red Cross and Shri Saibaba Heart Institute, Nashik jointly organised free cardiac camp. Received overwhelming response from 170 patients. Out of these, 54 patients were referred to the hospital for further evaluation under Mahatma Phule Jeevandayee Yojana.
Camp was inaugurated by Dr. Kapil Aher, Deputy Director, Health & Shri Dnyaneshwar Shewale, Governor, Rotary Club.
