Oxygen Concentrators

400 Oxygen Concentrators received from International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC) through IRCS National Headquarters, New Delhi and distributed to the Red Cross District / Sub-District Branches of Maharashtra. IRCS Jalgaon District Branch has initiated Oxygen Concentrator Bank and Oxygen Cylinder Bank. 98 Oxygen concentrators were gifted to Thane Red Cross by Singapore Red cross through Tamil Nadu State Branch. 7000 Nasal Oxygen Cannulas received from IRCS NHQ

Covid Helplines started in Aurangabad Red Cross & Udgir Red Cross (Dist. Latur) and in Maharashtra State Branch.

CSR Partnership/Initiatives with IRCS Maharashtra State Branch

  • Bilcare Ltd donated N95 masks 5000 pcs to Bel-Air Hospital, Panchgani
  • CDET Explosives Factory, Talegaon donated two fowler beds to Arvi Sub-District Branch (Dist. Wardha).
  • India Ratings & Research Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai, disbursed 65 lakhs to Bel-Air Hospital, Panchgani for augmenting present ICU beds, cardiac monitors and ECG machines and including treating Covid 19 marginalised community patients for free. Further 57 lakh disbursed for two ambulances for Arvi and Shrirampur Sub-District Branches and Anaesthesia Machine for Bel-Air under their CSR initiative.
  • Beiersdorf India Pvt. Ltd. donated "Hansaplast” plasters to Red Cross Blood Centres, Hospitals, OPDs and Vaccination Centres in Maharashtra State.
  • Hindustan CocaCola Beverages Pvt. Ltd gave around 15000 bottles of beverages to Maharashtra State Branch which were distributed to the following in Mumbai :
  • Sir. J. J. Group of Hospitals, Byculla, G. T. Hospital, Cama and Albless Hospital, St. George Hospital, DCP Zone -1, Town Hall Post Office

  • Avantor Performance Materials India Ltd., Gurgaon donated N 95 mask 15000 pcs, Fingertip Pulse oximeters 300 pcs and Infrared Thermometers 300 pcs to Maharashtra State Branch which was distributed to Red Cross Districts in Maharashtra State.
  • Bridgestone Tyres, Pune disbursed Rupees twenty six lakh to construct a school at Palus taluka in Sangli District.

Other Highlights :

Ulhasnagar Red Cross started a Dialysis unit at a cost of Rupees one crore. Inaugurated new Paediatric Dental Care Dept. on 21st April 2021. The project cost was Rs. 5 Lakhs. Expansion of Pathology Dept. in collaboration with Suburban Diagnostics from 1stApril 2021

Received 12 tons of foods items (6000 kg of Tea, 3000 kg of Groundnuts & 3000 kg of Coffee from Government and the People of Kenya through IRCS National Headquarters, New Delhiand were sent to Red Cross District/Sub-District Branches in Maharashtra State and ‘A’ Ward MCGM, Mumbai.

Appeals were sent to corporates/ individuals for donation towards Covid 19 response.

Online Covid Management platform by Ms. Ankita Mukherjee a London school of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine alumni on voluntary basis.

21000 Hygiene kits received from IFRC/NHQ. Distributed to district branches and orphanages and NGOs in Mumbai, Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and Mumbai Police were also the beneficiaries

Rupees five lakh donation received from Blue Cross Laboratories Ltd for Covid-19 response activity and the same was distributed to around seven district branches & Junior Red Cross unit in Mumbai.

5, 07,645 three ply and N-95 masks were received from M/s Fun Trading GMBH, Germany. Donor desired that 60% to be distributed to Thane Municipal Corporation and 40% to IRCS Thane Branch.

15275 fingertip pulse oximeters and 200 resuscitation bags received from IFRC/NHQ. 13728 pieces were allocated for State Nodal Authority and 1547 pieces to Red Cross District Branches. 200 resuscitation bags sent to Bel-Air Hospital.
