SEWA PAKHWADA CELEBRATED FROM 17TH SEPT. 2023 TO 2ND OCT 2023

Blood donation drives organised by IRCS Dr. Shirgaonkar Blood Centre, Sangli in various places during the Sewa Pakhwada held from the birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi-ji on 17th September 2023 to Mahatma Gandhiji’s birthday on 2nd October 2023 also covered the national voluntary blood donation day organised on 1st October 2023 every year. Total 129 units collected.
Swachhata Hi Seva observed on 1st October 2023

On 1st October 2023 Swachhata Hi Seva observed by IRCS Sangli District Branch by cleaning area around Red cross building/ Blood centre. Office bearers, committee members and staff of the IRCS Dr. Shirgaonkar Blood Centre participated on this occasion.
One day training workshop for nursing college students of Civil Hospital and Desai Nursing College

On May 14th 2023 IRCS Sangli District Branch, Rotary Club of Sangli Midtown and Indian Medical Association, Sangli organised one day training workshop for nursing college students of Civil Hospital and Desai Nursing College. 125 students attended. They were taught all aspects of nursing including behavioural pattern in hospital and with patients. Basics of nursing and few pharmaceutical hints etc. Program was a grand success and students were issued participation certificates. They were also shown the inside of Mobile Blood donation Van and its operations which was donated by IFRC/NHQ through Maharashtra state Branch.
Blood Donation Camp with the aid of Mobile Blood Collection Van

On 22nd March 2023 Blood Donation Camp was organised by IRCS Dr. Shirgaonkar Blood Centre, Sangli with the aid of Mobile Blood Collection Van donated by IRCS, National Headquarters New Delhi supported by International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC) in collaboration with NK Youth Foundation. Total 64 units collected. In both the camps IRCS Sangli District Branch office bearers were present.

On 19th March 2023 Blood Donation Camp was organised by IRCS Dr. Shirgaonkar Blood Centre, Sangli at Smt. Putlaben Shah College of Education, Sangli in association with Bharat Vikas Parishad. Total 64 units collected
